Some dear friends of ours invited us on their family vacation to Lake Mead in 2008. How grateful we felt to be a part of their fun family! We have so many pictures of Maureen with our friends daughter, Brynn. Poor baby Brynn probably thought that that four-year old girl would never leave her alone! Maureen wanted to sit next to Brynn, hold her, and make her laugh. She couldnt get enough of her. Maureen delighted in getting smiles and giggles to come from her new little friend. Our little mama! Maureen was like this with littles. Whether it was her cousins, friends children, or eventually Jayla, Maureen would be right there, and I mean RIGHT THERE. In their face, by their side, holding onto them. In fact, we would often tell her to give the kid space (multiple times). That little girl just had so much love to give that it just came bursting out. That trip seems so long ago, but I know our family had a blast. Pictures like these help those who never knew Maureen to see the genuine joy she had in simply loving. Spoiled with love? I dont even think that is possible!
