Some elegance for your Sunday! Audrey Hepburn was born on 4 May 1929 in Brussels. Hepburn spent her childhood between Belgium, England and the Netherlands, including German-occupied Arnhem during the Second World War. She studied ballet with Sonia Gaskell, and performed secretly for groups of people to collect money for the Dutch resistance. Hepburn once said, The best audience I ever had made not a single sound at the end of my performances. Hepburn does sing in a few of her movies, but was dubbed over for My Fair Lady, much to her dismay.
