Some essentials not to be overlooked.... Stretching is an important part of the fitness regime. However, it is commonly seen that most players do not stretch before as well as after the game. When the muscles are stretched properly, tearing and pulling of ligaments and muscles can be prevented. Hence, stretching has to be a part of the warm-up as well as cool-down. If the muscles are cold, it increases your chances of being injured.
