Some excellent Police work by Wollongong LAC General Duties Police in the early hours of Monday 5/1/15 in the Dempster street area. Acting on information received earlier in relation to two male persons attempting to break into premises in nearby Gilmore street the Police began patrol of streets within the local surrounding area. With the information they had on the description of the two males the Police stopped two male suspects in Dempster street near the intersection of Rosemont street. At the time the two males were in possession of computer cases containing a laptop computer, Nintendo Wii with controllers and game pad, a Seagate computer hard drive and a torch. Both the males were placed under arrest and conveyed to Wollongong Police Station where a number of charges were laid for a later appearance in Port Kembla Local Court. Excellent work by the Police concerned. Post No:4/01
