Some exciting things this week: I spoke by phone and got tips from national traffic safety activist Tim Hollister who lives in Connecticut and wrote a book about safe teen driving (his 17 year old son Reid died in 2006). I was contacted by a local crime victim advocate program coordinator who wants to know if I am interested in speaking to her organization and also at the local National Crime Victim Rights Week activities in April. And... I will be attending the sentencing of the woman who seriously injured Henry Schmidt in Portland and meeting with Henrys mother, who wants to lend her voice to the cause now that she is an inductee into the hit-and-run club. Some exciting and unusual activities coming up in December, too.
