Some few years ago, i arrived in ESUT a clumsy kid who didnt know very much about life. We were the lucky ones who got admission after taking the utme and post ume exams. Ran to lectures each day after struggling for a space in the school cab. Sat on very old, creaky benches listening to old lecturers whisper educative words to us. Rushed for different tutorials and different fellowships. Met different people who affected me in different ways. Today, im graduating and i feel so blessed to have learnt alot and met alot of people who cherish me. Im grateful for family both consanguinal, affilial and friends. Everyone who made it possible for me to be a graduate. To everyone who touched my life in different amazing ways, im grateful. My Parents, my gods, who were patient to listen to all my whines about being broke and all, to my lecturers who tried to instill in us a passion for learning even when we hated them. for friends who were there for agbugbu sessions, study and everything in between, even those i finished their food. And to all those who i depended on. Daalu. Behind every student there must have been at least a dozen people providing support in at least a dozen ways. I may not be able to repay them all, but i can become someone useful and that debt of gratitude will be paid forward. Class of 14. Were ending now, but barely beginning. Challenges are already waiting. Yours in Jesu Oluwa wa. J.
