Some food for thought, the average bucket holds 10 litres of water, if 1000 people do the ice bucket challenge thats 10,000 litres of fresh water just poured away and wasted, if 10,000 people do it thats 100,000 litres, if 100,000 people do it thats 10 million litres of water and so on. Seeing as this challenge has gone viral how many people do you think have done it or will do it? Have a guess then do the maths and see how much fresh water that is. If you want to do something for charity just donate some money or help in other ways, dont waste a commodity that you take for granted, a commodity that for millions of people around the world is a daily struggle just to acquire relatively small amounts of.
