Indigenous children have the right to practice their own culture. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights(1948) All children whether born in or out of wedlock shall enjoy the same social protections. The Hague Convention 1993 on the Protection of Children/International Adoption: Recalling that each state should take, as a matter of priority appropriate measures to enable the child to remain in the care of his or her family of origin.
