Some good news...finally:) Today Keira went to the cancer center to get her counts and after 2 days back on Neupogen her ANC jumped to 6,540! Finally her body decided to do what it needed to do! The doctor today said she WILL start chemo on Friday:) I also talked to the doctor about Keiras back and how she has been in quite a bit of pain and her legs have been going numb. The thought is that it is because of one of the chemotherapys she is on, Vincristine. This drug can cause back pain and numbness to legs and feet but just to make sure there isnt anything going on we will be having an MRI tomorrow. I was originally worried that the back pain could be because of the tumor that is on her back but the doctor showed me exactly where that tumor is, which is mid back. So that means that her back pain is not caused by that tumor, which made me feel better. So hopefully tomorrow we will know for sure exactly what is going on and Friday we will get back on track!
