Some great news from the Australian Confederation of Motor Clubs Inc NSW. Hi to All, The ACMC Inc has been working extremely hard over the last few months and we apologize for the lack of communication in this period on this FB page. However the VSWG Group (Vehicle Standards Working Group NSW) along with the RMS NSW have finally been able to finish much needed documents for the Motor Enthusiasts of NSW ! The ACMC Inc are totally committed to keeping Motoring Enthusiasts on the road with fair reasonable and workable guidelines for Vehicle Modifications well into the future. Particular thanks must go out to the Honorable Duncan Gay MLC Roads Minister for NSW ... also Mr Alan Hay Patron to the ACMC Inc, both Duncan & Alan provided the means for us to move forward and establish these much needed and overdue tools to get the job done and the VSWG group have done a momentous job ! Congratulations to each hard working volunteer on the these working group teams both from the ACMC Inc, Associations & the RMS NSW. VSI 6 - Gazettal List for NSW Vehicle Modifiers. This explains in plain English what the people of NSW can do to a car before a Certification is required. This document was constructed with Safety and common sense in mind at all times ..... but also allowing for as much relaxation to these guidelines as possible as not to restrict the vehicle owners freedom to modify to personal tastes BEFORE they need to step into certification requirements. rms.nsw.gov.au/registration/downloads/vsi/vsi6.pdf
