Some great tips for the first few days of classes for the Spring - TopicsExpress

Some great tips for the first few days of classes for the Spring 2014 semester: 1: If you need to purchase books from the bookstore, try to visit during non-peak hours for shorter lines and less crowds. Usually the best hours are in the early morning and late at night. 2: Start making friends in your classes and trade phone numbers and e-mails. Its a perfect way to keep in touch with classmates, especially if either one of you are out sick or need help with assignments. 3: Start taking notes every single class session. It keeps you awake and will pay handsomely when working on projects, essays, and preparing for the big tests. 4: If you are affected by the Science Building closure, make sure to check the class schedule online for your relocated room and building. 5: Eat a good breakfast. Theres the saying that breakfast is for champions, and its true. Have a good breakfast so you have the energy to power through your classes. Dine-in at the City Eats Dining Center for a full meal including having your eggs any way you want it cooked, or get a take-out breakfast at Cafe in the Park with favorites like Starbucks espresso drinks and hot bagel sandwiches. 6: Lastly, please have patience with our Resident Services front desk staff as they process the packages. You will be contacted via e-mail to your SF State account when it is ready for pickup. Have a great semester!
