Some happenings have happened to me that grant me a unique point of view. Ive tried for awhile to explain it in words, but the words never seemed quite right. Until one night, before he was born, I started to write a story Id tell to (what turned out to be) my nephew when hes a few years older. Its a story about a little girl named Madelyn —which ironically, is who he would be, if he was a she— and her search for The Garden. As more and more adventures came in store for Madelyn, I asked a few artists to illustrate a stage of the story. Sudipto Steve Dasgupta soon sent the one that you see – It was amazing to me how a simple story could create something so vivid it makes you feel like you lived it for real! I wanted to see more, of course, but one was all I could afford... So, if you think you like the story (or at least dont think its boring) and you can afford to help pay for a page or two youd have my greatest of gracious gratitude. Ill give the dollars to Steve who can turn them into drawings and as a reward Ill share more of the story every time we can pay for another page! So what do you say...? Cheers!
