Some hard evidence that tone/ tempo of voice is universally - TopicsExpress

Some hard evidence that tone/ tempo of voice is universally understood across cultures and even across species, this aids my hypothesis that language is composed of music hijacked to carry abstract information but still retaining its universal emotional aspect, you understand tone tempo of voice even in languages you dont know, that is even if you dont know the meaning of the words you know how the speaker feels just by listening, Sad music sounds very similar to crying and is understood as sad nearly everywhere, even animals get it. Behaviorisms anti subjectivity stance gets more untenable every day, yes we CAN talk about emotion and other subjective states scientifically.
