Some harvest shots. The auger is a 40 foot Harman, it was retired a long time ago, it had a 2 cylinder Wisconsin on it, you could hear it running for over a mile away on a good night. It was however bottom heavy and before it was modified it took 3 men at the bottom and me up on the top end of it hanging on for grim death when it was shifted to the next silo. The barley straw is already baled, the green bale is from a crop of process peas, it came from the neigbours place. 4 silos are full and one to go, we had to shift it. Is the 1660 the only 16 footer with a RHD reel drive anywhere? It must be real odd to see this.
