Some have asked for an update. We have a few more steps forward. The surgeons took him off the on demand pain button today. They are moving him over to non-narcotic meds as much as they can and still keep his pain under control. He gets dizzy from the dilaudid (narcotic based) and it also doesnt help with the moving forward process for the bowels. 馃槉 He walked a marathon nearly yesterday down these halls. I think we ended up switching nurses 4 times before he finished his walk. Today that slowed down a bit but he still walked. He ate a little soup and continues to drink some liquids. His stomach is still adjusting to the surgical changes so thats not been to pleasant the past two days. Today though so far no vomiting. Praise the Lord! 鉂わ笍
