Some have been asking and I have some answers... On Friday, my father was admitted into the unit at the VA hospital in Syracuse, NY. His potassium was extremely high, his kidneys were not functioning, and his breathing was very irregular. My baby brother, Ben Ryther, made the decision for him to be intubated and put on the ventilator to get him through the crisis stage. This morning his levels are better but he remains on the ventilator. There is still a lot of uncertainty. Please continue to pray for our family. I am so very proud of my brother for being so strong with so much uncertainty.
