Some hound attacked me yesterday around 3.50 am on Saba Saba day while going to work. Later I sought medication by 8am which costed me Kshs. 3055. The sad ordeal kept refreshing in my mind and haunting my spirits whenever I thought of it. I blamed myself for leaving behind my m**** ngok for once. Many people who heard of it visited me in the house with messages of quick recovery which I am not used to. I am sorry to say that in where I come from, such a thing was a small thing to a man and consoling him weakens his musculine spirit. Instead of giving him consoling messages, cheer him up that he is a strong man or encourage him to fight back. At 7pm I went to my armoury and went for the criminal. Many who saw me walking away silently were frightened given that it was Saba Saba day and there had been some confrontation between cops and some youth from Makongeni and Kaloleni. I found it resting at the exact pont where it attacked me. With anger, two rounds of a***n left it dead. The last time I did something like that was in december 1993. Immediately, a crowd formed trying to catch a glimpse of what had transpired. Sadly, around two other people testified that they had been attacked too by the same fox. I then hired some guys to burry the dead fox at a cemetry by the railway bridge near the former Standard group production. I feel better today, the wounds are drying...
