Some info about the family suffering from ALS: Sure: Rocky and I have been married 16 years this September. We have four beautiful children Jasmine (15), Jocelyn (12), Grandon (10) and Jade (4). We have lived in Lisbon (Newark) last 4 years. Rocky was diagnosed with ALS in 2010 when our baby was 6 months old. I have been staying home and caring for Rocky and our little one with help of his mother Carol since then as he requires 24 hour care. This terrible disease has taken the use of all of his limbs and greatly affected his ability to speak but he keeps fighting and his spirits remain high. The viral attention brought to ALS has brighten his days as this the most we have every heard anyone talking about this nasty disease. Not many people have any idea was ALS is or what it does to its victims. Bless you for thinking about our family as you can only imagine the stress of dealing with this but the financial impact over the years has been substantial.
