Some lesson in statistics. The demographic of the US eligible - TopicsExpress

Some lesson in statistics. The demographic of the US eligible voters is as follows: 15% blacks, 16% Latinos, 3% other minorities and 66% caucasians. In the last election about 60% of eligible voters voted. 99% of all eligible Black voters voted for Obama. 65% of Latinos voted for Obama 50% of other minorities voted for Obama. If the actual votes in the last election is use as a sample and project it to see the result if 100% of eligible voters voted the result will show Romney could have won the election (58% to 42% for Obama). This statistical sampling and projection is the same technique use by the network to predict the result of the election even before the actual voters were counted.
