Some lingering moisture over the central AZ mountains coupled with a weak shortwave moving through the state helped generate some isolated thundershowers east of Phoenix & even some isolated activity over the rural corners of NW Maricopa County. Here are some of the webcam shots looking east towards the Superstitions & west at the White Tanks from ADEQ (the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality). They are building up & dissipating fairly quickly as conditions continue to dry out in the atmosphere from the west.
