Some more news on Tonev and his 7-game ban for racially abusing another player in the Scottish Premiership. The Bulgarian FA have joined Celtic and come out in support of him, saying that they demand to see evidence that the act was committed. They state that the ruling is biased, exaggerated and made without evidence. Tonev is described as a role model for the Bulgarian national team. Will be interesting to see if Villa come out in support of him. For the record, I do not believe racism is acceptable in any form, but this does seem very my word vs his word and I dont like to jump to the conclusion that one of our players is a racist.
