Some more observations of our MPP students from the field trip to the village: “Education is important for social development. Education generates work force and provides specialist to handle particular fields. In order to achieve growth of the region, the quality of life should be provided for citizens of particular area. One of the most important is to assure that young people are well educated and have willingness to stay and develop their Mother land. Most of the rural areas in our country are not developing and people leave that areas and intend to move to cities. Such situations leads to leakage of specialist from villages and affects the growth of villages negatively. In most of the cases people who move to cities from villages become out of demand of job market due to low education level. Therefore, people usually get low salaries and mostly involved in heavy jobs (such as construction). Social satisfaction of people is low in such cases. They work hard, usually more than 40 hours per week and still cannot get well paid jobs. Education in villages should provide opportunities for future career in agricultural sector. People along with general education should have educational programs oriented to build the society which may supply themselves with agricultural products and deliver them to other cities. People who live in rural areas should get clear understanding and vision of being and working in village could be much more profitable, rather than work in city where they have not much competencies. Government should provide market for rural areas, such opportunities as in Novorybinka. Food corporations should be interested to buy the agricultural products produced by citizens of rural areas. Well educated people in agriculture field might develop rural areas and get paid well due to several programs that government provides for developing rural areas as well as agriculture.” Yernur Zhamalov, MPP 2014
