Remember Gulzars quirkiest lines? - Na ugli hi jaaye na nigli hi jaaye,Yeh kaali zehreeli raat..Pal pal balkhaati, pal pal uljhaati,Palke jhapakti yeh raat, Sanate ki sej pe soye, Saap si sarakti raat....ye raat! Raveena Tandon spewing venom (quite literally!) in possibly one of the most sleek & stylized choreography i have seen! Its just class apart! Choreographer Ashley Lobo cleverly made Raveena escalate the sensual aggression in the manic metaphors relating to the lyrics (ominous night to the slithering of snake and the acerbic texture of acid!). Aggressive, bold and beautiful, her character, the club dancer Neeta was translated in her uninhibited dance movements as well. Cinematographer Kiran Deohans did a splendid job by keeping a low lit interior with prominent glass wall backdrop with the spotlight turning on & off on the lead dancer & an overall emerald hue to the texture. Makeup by Cory Walia makes Raveena looks extremely desirable & she plays it well....well, up against the pole for sure!!
