Some myths fuel bigotry and hatred. Science is very useful in dispelling myths and may help to destroy the basis of bigotry and hatred in the process. Both Hamas and Israel are currently fuelled by bigotry and hatred founded upon myths. To fire rockets into Israel, for what ever reason, is simply insane and unhelpful to the quest for justice. Embedding munitions and rocket launching sites in heavily populated areas is very cruel to civilians. What else is Israel to do but try to stop it? On the other hand, Israel should get out of all Occupied Territories and all of the parties involved get down to regional economic and environmental co-operation.
