Some notes after spending some time with Jesus on true apostolic - TopicsExpress

Some notes after spending some time with Jesus on true apostolic election. The apostolic calling in todays Christianity is one of pizazz and zest and fame. An idol of vast materialistic proportion. The apostolic office that flows in mainstream religion today is a complete counterpart to biblical apostolic election. The life of a true apostle of Jesus is filled with tragedies and trials, traveling and travails, misunderstanding and much behind the scenes work. The biblical office of an apostle is a foundation stone of the church. I would ask you, when is the last time you saw the foundation stones of your house/apartment? You would most likely tell me never. (Eph 2:19-22)See, although being one of the most supernatural and demanding callings, it is also one of the most hidden and tucked away callings. The apostle goes to a town, preaches the gospel complimented and confirmed by signs and wonders, starts a church, administrates leaders and milks the church to proper health, and moves on, and repeats that sequence in many other cities. The apostle of The Lord walks in the five fold, and in turn is able to by the grace and guidance of The Lord Jesus raise and oversee a local body of believers for a set time. The apostolic is a hidden calling, begging the requirement of literal prayer without ceasing. Constantly motioned to the secret place. True apostolic election is filled with utmost sorrow, but also the deepest and greatest joy. I believe that one thing symbolizes and summarizes the apostolic office. That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, being conformed to the image of His death.-Beloved Paul
