Some of lifes greatest thoughts and ideas come alive when Im on exam duty. Part of it is because of the fact that I get the time to reflect on what is and what can be. You have your job cut out in case the class comprises of those whose motives are other than writing the exam on their own!!! otherwise, its just you, your thoughts and a room full of blank faces in front of you. It also gives you the much-needed but rarely found, me time. No phone to fiddle with, no books to fill up your thoughts with, no tv to stare at, nothing. Its just you against the three hours of emptiness. In todays fast-paced life, its moments like this that are rare. Otherwise, who has the time to ponder without actually doing something. It was a burden for me once, but now by graceful sanity bestowed upon me by the Almighty, I consider it more of an opportunity. An opportunity to think, re-think and plan for the day, the week, the month and the year ahead!!!
