Some of my Christian friends believe as I used to, that the KJV is the only inspired version. A common argument is that the Majority Texts or Byzantine texts were newer but because they are more in number and more widely dispersed that gives credence that they are more accurate. This I later discovered was too simple an explanation. Here is James White explaining it all for us. We have Gods word in our Bibles today. Exceptions would be some silly translations that scholars on both sides would immediately dismiss. Im not talking about silly ones like the New World Translation. But any variations of word translations or passages not included in other versions do not affect any point of theology and 99 or more percent of all Greek manuscripts and fragments agree in content and we are always getting more and more clarification on things as we draw closer to the coming of Jesus. Early in the twentieth century we discovered the Granville Sharpe rule for translating Greek and that shed a light on things. https://youtube/watch?v=r4alAsrWMSs
