Some of my favorite teachers (Lincoln Elementary) Mrs. Edna Rowbottom (1st Grade) Miss Sylvia Theiss (2nd Grade) Mrs. Paulette White (3rd Grade) Mrs. Faye Simpson (5th Grade) Mrs. Pauline Smith (Sixth Grade) Mrs. Juanita Sirculomb (Kindergarten) You will note 4th Grade is missing. Mrs. Allen broke her arm early in the year and we ended up with Mr. Mattix for part of the year. Mrs. Allen wasnt there on picture day I guess. Of course, Sylvia Theiss later became Mrs. Louie Hill Jr. and Mrs. Rowbottom was known by several names over the years. Ness was her maiden name and her married names were Olson, McKale, Rowbottom and Dixon. Mrs. Smiths sister was Mildred Scott who taught 3rd or 4th grade (cant remember). Lucille Carra was a 5th Grade teacher and earlier taught first grade I think. I never had her but my sister had her for 1st and 5th if I remember correctly. What a great bunch of teachers!! If Im missing anyone from these years please help me fill in. There were 3 teachers for each grade except Kindergarten as I recall and I cant remember who all the other teachers were.
