Some of my post this year may offend you, may hurt you, wanting to debate, or even as far as deleting me from your friends list, but from the bottom of my heart it would hurt me more if I dont share the good news with you. It may sound weird to you because its unfamiliar to you. It may sound cheesy to you because the words are not of this world. It may sound uninteresting to you because you think theres no value of it. It may sound hurtful to you because you were hurt by a congregation in the past. It may sound confusing to you because youre getting your influence from elsewhere other than the Bible. It may sound uncomfortable to you because it didnt comfort you with a lie. The Bible is not a buffet line by picking and choosing the Word of God. Ill be honest with you, if one person comes to know Christ because of Gods words, Ill rejoice! If a person had wandered off and then return back to Christ because of Gods words, Ill rejoice! Furthermore, there is no one who rejoices more than our Heavenly Father who loves you and wants to have a personal relationship with you. It may sound right to you because maybe youve read this far down that you are seeking for the truth. It may sound right to you because you want to know Him personally. It may sound right to you because you’re hurt, you’re empty, or have no sense of purpose and you’re doing things in life alone without God. Jesus standing at the door and knock and that if anyone hears His voice and opens the door, He will come in. Maybe this is you and you want to make things right… just open the door and invite Him in.
