Some of our crazy laws. The wife has a pension and a 401 k and I have one of each as well. We are beneficiary on each others plans She or I can go online and borrow out of either 401k, I can order the forms to transfer or cash out our pensions Yet neither of us can cash out either of our plans with out the notarized signature of the other She ask me to call and check on something on her 401 k and they will not tell me ,they have to speak to her. yet she cant cash it out if I do not let her Yet, she can do a withdraw up to and including the last penny in multiple amounts without my signature ,but yet no one time withdraw for all of it unless she has my signature
