Some of our groups have found that sitting in on the public Council meetings held in their City Hall is very beneficial. They usually come earlier and pick up an agenda on the counter, then head into the Council Chambers, where they sit in the back of the public seating area and quietly pray. When the meeting begins, they cover with prayer each piece of city business as it comes up. If the meetings are open to the public, there is no permission needed to attend. Each Prayer Post Partner has made a vital commitment to, not only pray for their city, but also get first hand knowledge of how their Mayor and Councillors operate, even if they can only stay for the first hour of the Council meeting.
