Some of our leaders seem to have what the Swahili call kasumba ya unyakuzi wa ardhi. They seem to have been bitten by the land grabbing bug.....they have a looooooong history of land grabbing, from public toilets, cemeteries, other peoples land.....so whats a school play ground to them? You guessed right.....a piece of cake! And judging by the police presence at Langata road primary school yesterday (I personally witnessed it!) that private developer whose name seems to escape the media houses and land officials is not the Jerry Murrendes of this world, he/she must be some fish too big to fry in a kenyan pan! In the same breath, one Mr. Arachi and Maj. Gen (Rtd) Nkaissery seem the duo kenya needs at this time, unfortunately in kenya youre never indispensable regardless of your noble deeds provided you rub the powers that be, the wrong way! But good luck guys, may God be with you in your work.
