Some of the Rate My Fish entries that have been coming in. Ill be rating more later. These three are all in the same High category. Id consider anything over 50 as meritorious so these are good for numerous reasons. 1 Jack Rankine (8) for his pb carp of 8lb caught on one of my starter kits. Always special to catch a pb and a good picture too - full in frame. 2 Missing a name here but its from Sarah Shaw and I think its of her youngster with his first barbel of the season and a PB. River fish always score high points in my book. Again a personal record. Well done. Might have scored an extra few points if we didnt have the van in the background - composition always important. Watch for the poles and bank sticks in fishing - they can also be distracting in pictures. And the Coke bottle - scan the background before pressing the shutter. 3 David Mundy with his fishing buddy - they both caught 33-pounders within minutes of each other. This is a memorable shot as its about sharing a special moment that will live with you forever. Well done boys, nice smiles too! If youd got a touch closer together, raised one fish and dropped the other, composition would have been perfect and with that tighter crop Id have rated it slightly higher. If you want to take part in Rate My Fish click here: woobox/8ntykt Innovative tactics, wild fish from natural fisheries, well composed pictures, fish from new, challenging venues, and specimens in top condition will score extra marks.
