Some of the authors observations we can all agree with, but the major problem is that the countrys leadership has degenerated into crony capitalism, with few present for the citizens. The countrys institutions have generated into collections of vested interests, more intent on upping their take than performing to earn it. It is no longer government of the people, by the people, for the people. None of the potential candidates appear to offer true hope and change. Here and there appear true islands of performance, and now and again, an admired hero. But, when this happens, powers that be immediately begin campaigns to shred their reputation since such people threaten the vested. Many of us begin to wonder if honorable even exists. Perhaps more insightful than the article are the comments. You already have mine.
