Some of the key pioneers who laid the foundations in our local rock scene: 1. Joseph Clement Pereira - longest known historian of the independent music scene here in Singapore. He literally covered decades worth of music in his various documentative books, and still continues to do so. 2. Chris Ho - one of the first DJ to put non-mainstream local music on the airwaves back in the darker ages of Singapore, and to do that back that was seriously going against some serious rough grain. 3. Suhaimi Subandie - the man that started Stompin Ground and put the LCHC scene together from nothing. He literally introduced a whole new genre of cutting-age music into Singapore. 4.
