Some of the most amazing women I have ever had the privilege to meet are Asylum Seekers and Refugees. Their stories are enough to bring tears to the strongest and a gratitude like no other that our lives here are so blessed in comparison-and yet they never give up! The courage, strength and compassion I see in these women is inspiration enough for me to stare down any challenge I might face with unwavering faith and a fierceness I could never have conceived of before meeting them. I am honored to have such incredible role models and friends and to those I share my life with and those I am yet to meet I send love, prayers and strength your way. We will not stop using our collective voice on your behalf at a time when you are unable to speak out for yourselves.
