Some of the people love to hate on Muslims. Whether people realize it or not, the moral and ethical foundation for our modern Western civilization prides itself as being based on the philosophical traditions of the so-called wisdom of the Greeks. What is not often conveyed is that the Greeks were the first to absolutely reject the religious tradition of the Jews (monotheism) in favor of a pluralistic society replete with polytheism, deism, and even atheism. It was Plato who argued in his New Republic that society was not fit to govern themselves and that only a priestly class of men who had access to the prescia theologia or ancient wisdom (essentially a euphemism for arcane black magick) would be fit to rule over others (the profane). This is part of the basis of synarchism that is practiced by many of our political elites throughout the world, not just in the West. Given this unique historical trajectory until now, it is not surprising to see how the Greeks are openly hostile to the message of Islam and the presence of Muslims in their country and have used right-wing ultra-nationalist groups disguised as an orthodox Christian movement to try and counter the spread of Islam and illegal immigration. According to some flawed reports, Greece faces such austerity measures in its fiscal policy due to the pervasive growth of Islam and the coincidental rise in undocumented workers as if their is somehow a direct correlation between them. Things that make you say hmmmm....
