Some of us have been judgmental about TFS’s investigations, - TopicsExpress

Some of us have been judgmental about TFS’s investigations, saying that its decisions are politically motivated and that we can’t trust them no more given the situation that the Oneil has not been arrested on the alleged signature on the Letter when Paul Teintsten has been arrested for just a footnote directing a payment from which he did not benefit. Well, Law is not my expertise but I understand that “IT IS NOT ABOUT WHAT WE KNOW, IT IS ABOUT WHAT WE CAN PROVE IN COURT “ The Judiciary system does not have emotions or feelings to fast track and make rulings on cases just because the people are unhappy, it’s outcomes depend on what and how we feed it. I quote Sam Koim on the Paul Tientsin Case “This is the first investigation that Task-Force Sweep conducted when it was established in August 2011. Though it took time before the final verdict on sentencing, justice has been finally served and we are satisfied. We respect the independence of the judiciary in disposing cases at its own pace and in this instance, we applaud the decision.” I also quote Sam Koim on the allegations against Oniel in regards to His signature.(Paraka Case)” I have never stated that we cleared, exonerated or acquitted the Prime Minister of any wrong doing. I have made it clear that investigations are continuing and if there is fresh evidence warranting that we have a strong case against the PM, we will make that call at that appropriate time. Despite what I have stated clearly, people still want to say we have “exonerated” or “cleared” the PM of any wrong doing and even accused us of closing the case.” People, we have to understand that it is not about what we know, it is about what we can prove in court. And this “proving” process can take ages.Team Sam Koim, Well done so far and we wish you the best on the other cases the team is working on...
