Some of you are probably are wondering if we were hit with the bad rain storm last night. YES we did. Luckily our flooding didnt cause alot of damage. Just driveway repairs. Sadly the POND took the brunt of it and now has a 6 ft wide hole in its embankment and needs to be repaired. Now, mind you winter started that hole! My morning started with grabbing a shovel. Most of the runs ended up with mini streams in them. MOST of the dogs thought it great - their own private splash zone. I of course KNEW something was up with Flash & Louie - Louie was howling! Why? Apparently they had a mini river going past their private deck/ramp and LOUIE doesnt like getting his belly wet. So, I go in with my trusty shovel, and dig a trench to relieve the water flow. Flash of course took the opportunity for some free style wanderings. An hour later Louie was running around his yard. NO more river, just a light trickle. Can you say spoiled?
