Some of you asked about my apartment problems. I gave nice tips to all the employees in the building, including the doorman I cant stand. I wasnt going to sink to his level. I guess the tips were good because all the employees now smile at me, ask if I need any help. After a lot of thought, I realized that there is only one thing -- a person -- I dont like in this building and he wasnt worth moving for. He and I dont speak, and thats awkward, but its workable. A good thing is that my 3 letters of complaint seem to have knocked some of the arrogance out of the man. I havent seen him frown or glare at anyone, which is a huge change. As for being on the ship, Ill miss a few days as I get settled, but Ill be posting regularly. I have a book to write and a lot of wonderful things to see. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! Jude
