Some of you know some of you dont. 2 weeks ago I was involved in a very serious motorbike accident. I was riding home from work and was almost home when a driver pulled out in front of me and I hit her side on. I was airlifted to Royal London Hospital and it was very touch and go for the first few days. After lots of different scans, x rays and tests they concluded that I had suffered a shattered left femur, broken nose, 2 small fractures in my lower back, broken finger, type 2 respiratory failure and severe bruising and swelling to my hip and ankle. However after 2 weeks in hospital, 2 blood transfusions, a rod in my left femur a fixed nose and a pretty major skin graft to my left leg. I am now finally back home where I belong. Thanks for all the messages of love and support you really helped me pull through and get me out of hospital. Still got a long way to go as I can still barely walk, but its good to be home and the long road to recovery can well and truly begin.
