Some of you know that Im Christian, and I tend to write more politically-based posts on here, sharing more Christian-based posts on my personal page. I dont debate Christianity unless someone initiates it. I dont slam other religions or the lack thereof. I believe everyone has the right to choose to worship as they please or do not please. However, this happy holidays issue is pushing me to the edge. Please tell me how certain atheists, agnostics, muslims, etc. are allowed to stifle a persons freedom of speech regarding a Christian holiday? Its not called Allahmas or Buddahmas, or anything else, as those religions (one is a cult) and lack thereof have their own holidays to claim. If you arent Christian and are offended by Christmas in its true religious meaning, you dont have to celebrate it. Not even that, but you are given the option to celebrate it without a religious practice. That makes you completely free, however, when you say I cannot say merry Christmas, you are interfering with my peaceful practice and expression. I dont celebrate kwanza or Chanukah, but if someone said happy kwanza or happy Chanukah, Id just be grateful they greeted me in the first place. -Dom
