Some of you know the history of Peekalo, my parakeet. He was living with hawks and my massage therapist asked me to rescue him ( 2 years ago. Right before the first snow we were able to lure him into a cage ,and he has lived with me ever since This morning I saw that he couldnt get out of the cage, (hes only closed in at night) and finally he flew out.. but his leg was clearly broken. We rushed to the great care of Creekside Animal Hospital Draper, UT , and Dr Orr just texted me that his leg was very broken up but that he has aligned it as best as he can. Please keep little Peekalo in your thoughts... he is at the hospital till at least Wednesday.
