Some of you may have noticed that there has only been a couple of photos posted so far of our princess Skylar Jade Patterson. That is because she was still in the hospital after being rushed from Werribee Mercy Hospital to The Royal Childrens Hospital on the Sunday after she was born. It was all due to her throwing up a bright green mucous the night before. They were worried there could be something serious wrong with her so transferred her straight to the Childrens Hospital for tests to see if they could find anything wrong with her. She stayed there for 2 days and by the end of it all every single test come back a-ok so she was transferred back to Werribee Mercy on Tuesday afternoon. I have been back and forward to the hospital for feeding times and for snuggle time with my princess. She had a little bit of trouble with her feeding and they wanted to keep her in until she had her feeding down pat. That didnt take long and she turned a corner on Thursday and her feeding is now excellent. She is home now after being finally being discharged this morning and we are over the moon that she is now at home where she belongs. I have had one hell of a scare 2 days after she was born as I didnt know what was happening to my baby girl. She is happy and healthy baby and I cannot stop smiling and staring at her now she is home xox I would like to thank my mum Gayle Marshall for everything you did for me from the time you turned up at 7.15am on Friday morning to being on standby for extra support if I needed it. And more importantly for rushing back on the Sunday morning after I called you to tell you what was happening with Skylar. We really appreciate everything you did for us for those first few days. And last but not least I want to thank my wonderful and loving fiancé Daniel Patterson for absolutely everything you did while I was in labour and giving birth to our precious daughter. And then two days later when Skylar was taken to the Royal Childrens Hospital you were my rock and my strength. I love you to the moon and back again babe xoxoxoxox I am so in love with my little family ❤❤💜💜💙💙💖💖
