Some of you may have read my account of a strange series of chopper flights around here. Anywhere from around 7 PM to around midnight, we hear what sounds like a chopper circling around the neighborhood. At first, we thought it might be a police chopper, chasing suspects, but it happened too often, very often 5 or more nights a week. Sometimes it stops for a week or so, then we hear it again. Were usually in, for the night, after around 7 PM and rarely are outside then, but last week, I took my purse camera out there and tried to observe and follow it for a few minutes to see what I could capture on there. But unfortunately, its not outfitted for video in that low a light. But from the brief time I was out there, it sounded like a chopper and appeared to be flying at about 3000 feet above ground level. It appeared, during that time, east of our house, and was flying a circle, then moving the circle, approximately so that the outside edge of the new circle overlapped the old circle. There was no beam from a search light, but I observed flashing red and blue lights. With the frequency that weve been hearing this, I cant imagine that its any manned police operation - it would be very expensive. And a police chase chopper would be using a search light beam, and wouldnt be flying in repetitive circles like that. Many are the nights where we kept hearing the thing and wondering what in the world would be flying around our neighborhood for so long, for so many nights a week, on average. Its really peeved us. It also makes no sense from a pure government surveillance standpoint, as drones are usually prop planes and fly so high above ground, that they cant be heard - at least thats what we always see in the movies and on TV. So why would someone be flying a chopper that could just about only be some kind of drone, so many nights a week, in circles around our neighborhood, for maybe 2-3 years now, with brief intervals in between, at times? Very mysterious. But as you can see, Im in the legal service field. Im not a conspiracy theorist, or anything like that, I deal in evidence and science. I have an ASEET ( Associate in Science in Electronics Technology ) and used to work in that field for around 27 years. But you were saying that youve had other reports like this. After I posted that link on Facebook last week, it stopped. Coincidence? Who knows? But the last time I mentioned it on Facebook, it also stopped for about a week or so. People on there teased me about black helicopters and a few theorized that it was the government trying to show that they could do this to us, but I simply dont know - not enough evidence. It doesnt seem to make much sense that it would be something like DHS either, because again, Id imagine that theyd just fly the quiet drones that are up so high that you cant hear them. About the only thing that does make sense is that it might be some kind of government program to desensitize the population to such goings-on and impose authority on people, which would really be weird. Have you ever watched the excellent TV series Person of Interest? If youre at all familiar with artificial intelligence development, you may have heard about a prediction of an impending event that they refer to as the SIngularity - a point where an actual sentient intelligence is developed which exceeds that of humans, and rapidly far exceeds it. That, combined with something like this, could actually, if used wrongly, lead to something like Skynet that was depicted in the Terminator movies. Scary. Ive often wondered if, when the Singularity is developed ( and its only a matter of time ), if it would feel the need to even keep us around? ….rest snipped... Thanks, Melissa...
