Some of you may have read that I was bringing a little stray cat home from Turkey. We made our long journey yesterday (20 hours) by two planes, one car, one ferry boat and two trains and Oliver was such a good boy, hardly crying at all except when we had to make a change and move to another transport. Doing it this way we legally avoided him having to make a traumatic voyage as cargo, as he entered the country legally at Calais/Dover. Anyway, her is a photo of him enjoying Northumberland sunshine on his new couch, in his very own room - necessary as we have to introduce him slowly to our resident Princess Lucy, who is definitely not amused! (P.S. I have discovered how useful baby and mom toilet facilities are when travelling with a cat!
