Some of you may have seen this so I apologise if you have. A while back, people were saying that the Lockjack/RW combo was dangerous. It was widely believed that if there was a shock loading drop the camming action of the LJ was going to sever the rope. At the time, Ian Flatters and myself were climbing almost exclusively on the system, and neither of us believed it would happen. We set out to create such a situation to prove one way or the other what might occur. Obviously this isnt the most scientific of tests, but the results speak for themselves.
