Some of you may remember that I was a Student Conservation Association Volunteer in Badlands National Park, South Dakota way back in 1992 and worked an an Interpretive Park Ranger (I interpreted park resources for the public). Well there were many funny things that happened to me there and I dont have time to tell all the stories (such as when I loaned by car to a Lakota Sioux guy named Wayne Winters and he stole it). One of the funny things is that none of the Park Ranger hats would fit my head so I didnt have to wear it. My fellow volunteers were very bitter about it and tried to kill me several times with rattlesnakes....its a good thing that they arent aggressive.....Im making that part up. But they were mad because they they had to wear the hats. One time my huge head was a good thing.
