Some of you may remember us putting out a plea for Mamba, a sweet, loving girl that was super urgent last week. She was abandoned by her owners who picked up and moved away, leaving her to fend for herself. Animal control arrived to pick her up and she was laying with another dogs puppies, helping to keep them warm under the porch. The staff at her shelter called her the babysitter, and when their kennels became full, Mamba was in urgent need of rescue or she would have faced the worse of fates. One of our amazing foster moms saw her story and offered to take her in while we worked to find her a loving home of her own. I am happy to share that there will be no more cold, lonely nights under the porch for Mamba. She arrived at her foster home today and now takes her naps on a soft bed by the fire :) Mamba is officially available for adoption and is going to make a loyal, loving companion for one very special family
