Some of you may wonder what general volunteers do at our clinics? One of the important tasks is the setup and take down of the clinic. We have equipment of all kinds which needs to be unloaded from the trucks and setup. For example we have purchased 70 dental stations for use at our clinics. Part of each station is the A-DEC 3460 portable dental chair. These chairs come in four parts and each needs to be moved and put together. Take a look at this video (from the North Carolina Missions of Mercy) on how to setup one of these dental chairs. We still need quite a few dentists, doctors, nurses, general volunteers and eye care professionals for our clinic in Coachella, California with the clinic opening Thursday, April 3rd, 2014.
